About me

Hi! I'm Emily, a First Class BSc (Hons) Architecture graduate from the University of Lancashire. Over the last three years studying Architecture, my journey has been both challenging and rewarding. Throughout this time, I have developed a strong interest in how architecture can positively shape everyday life through spaces that are often overlooked. I am particularly interested in how design decisions can influence people’s experiences of the built environment in subtle but meaningful ways.

Alongside this, I have developed a growing interest in sustainable and community focused design, exploring how architecture can respond thoughtfully to environmental and social challenges through local materiality and public engagement.

Studying architecture has allowed me to continuously develop my creativity, technical understanding, and confidence as a designer, and seeing the progression of my work over the past three years has encouraged me to continue learning and evolving within the field.

I am currently seeking a Part 1 Architectural Assistant position where I can continue developing my skills and begin contributing to architectural practice. I hope to one day become a qualified architect, but for now I am enjoying the journey and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow.
